COSPLAY PROPS

Learn how to make your own armor and weapons out of cheap materials at the Cosplay Props Panel! We, the Cosplayers, will teach you the basics of prop-making and guidelines on starting your own project. Participants will get to build their own prop once they learn how to budget, gather materials, and conduct research to design their prop!

PANELISTS

Celemis is an aspiring cosplayer and digital artist from Southern California. Cosplaying since 2007, she has hosted various cosplay gatherings at anime conventions for her favorite fandoms. Three years ago, Celemis started prop-making to cosplay more obscure, rare anime/game characters. Her well-known cosplays include Austria (Axis Powers Hetalia), Jean Descole (Professor Layton game series), and Bass.EXE (Megaman NT Warrior).

Samurai Tsuyosa is an outgoing cosplayer and multimedia artist from Southern California. Since 2011, she has been expanding her skills on prop-making giant weapons and transformative makeup. Nowadays, Tsuyosa enjoys modeling with itasha, anime designer cars, and their otaku owners. Her popular cosplays include Genocider Syo (Dangan Ronpa), Insane Black Rock Shooter (Black Rock Shooter), and Wo Class (Kantai Collection).

Diane is a shy cosplayer and multimedia sculptor from Southern California. Since 2008, she has grown fond of cosplaying and attending anime conventions but often stays away from the center of attention as a cosplayer. Diane enjoys mask-making, sewing dresses, and crafting jewelry. Diane's cosplays include No Face (Spirited Away), Weeping Angel (Doctor Who) and Princess Mononoke (Princess Mononoke).
