PHOTOGRAPHY AND POSING

You’ve successfully planned and created the cosplay of your dreams, but what’s next? Cosplayers and photographers partner together to create beautiful images portraying characters and scenes, but that all may seem a bit intimidating if you don’t know where to start. The Photography and Posing panel will provide tips from both a photographer and cosplayer’s perspective to help you channel that character whose costume you are wearing.

PANELISTS

Vincent is the chief photographer for Bakephotogatari, an anime-centric cosplay photography group. After graduating from UCI with a biology degree, he picked up a camera during his first year of grad school and it ruined his life. He started taking photos at Anime Los Angeles 2015 and hasn’t looked back since. He also shoots portraits, does street photography, and is always willing to experiment.

His con lineup includes TitanCon, NinjaCon, and Anime Expo.
